From kissing the clouds in aviation to turning wrenches on heavy machinery; from reading Nietzsche and studying econometrics to telling stories through ink and film, I'm fortunate to have had and continue to have the opportunity to explore so many parts of this world in this short time we get to make our way through.
Being a Marine is not what solely defines me but it has contributed greatly to my success in all areas of life. I believe leadership is an inherent skill and although aspects of leadership can be taught, the basic traits need to be within an individual. I am fortunate enough to have been given the tools and opportunities to practice management and leadership on multiple levels in and out of the military. Teams lead to success but only when property lead. As a small business owner, a pilot in command of a flight crew, and as a projects officer, I have harnessed the skills of individuals to create a synergy exceeding the sum of parts. Challenges are a driving force and motivate me to accomplish the jobs at hand. For my most recent project, I took on a non-paid job as the project manager for my own home where I acted as superintendent and manager. I look forward to applying my leadership and organizational skills in an institution where I can contribute to corporate growth.
